Coincidentally, both Zulum and Makinde were elected as governors for the first in the 2019 general election. Since then, they proved to be the best among the 36 governors of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Seyi Makinde never thought of probing the previous, he might perhaps considered that as a waste of time.
Immediately after he was sworn in as the governor of Oyo state he started delivering his campaign promises, he started with declaring his asset to the public ( what many other governors failed to do up to now), his plans on education, health and infrastructure is also one of the best in the history of the state.
In the case of Prof. Zulum, he never show any sign of being a 'new comer'. His unscheduled visits to hospitals, schools, construction sites etc in the state was very influential in waking people up from a long time sleep, each and every civil servant in Borno is now working tirelessly, absenteeism, negligence, corruption are no longer possible for Borno civil servants.
His tremendous effort in maintaining the security situation in the state is also commendable.
Despite being in different polical parties, Zulum and Makinde will be a very good combination at the top level. Their system of governance looks very similar and that's what Nigerians need. I pray that one day Nigerians will have Makinde and Zulum as their president and and Vice president respectively.
