Manchester United star Paul Pogba looks certain to miss his side’s clash with Liverpool next weekend through injury, according to reports.
Pogba still has his foot in a protective cast after suffering an injury earlier this season.

On Friday, the Frenchman posted “Almost there”, alongside a picture of himself working out in Dubai where he’s undergoing rehabilitation.
But according to the Daily Mail, Pogba won’t make it back in time for the Liverpool game at Old Trafford next week.

He’s due to return to Carrington in the next few days where club doctors will determine the severity of his injury and how much more recovery time he will need.
There are also concerns that Pogba will miss games following the Liverpool clash.
United have still to play Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League and Chelsea in the Carabao Cup at the end of the month.
United also have to deal with relegation candidates Norwich before the end of the month.

Solskjaer is still looking to turn United’s season around, having suffered a dismal start.
The Red Devils have drawn lost three times in the Premier League this season, while they’ve also struggled in the tournament’s they’ve competed in.
Rochdale gave United all they had in their Carabao Cup fixture while AZ Alkmaar managed to sneak a draw against Solskjaer’s side in Europe.

Liverpool are top of the league, having won all eight of their games this season.
The Reds sit eight points clear of second-place Manchester City, who have lost twice already this term.
United’s losses this season have come against Newcastle, West Ham and Crystal Palace, whose victory came at Old Trafford.
Pogba has yet to score this season but was United’s top scorer last term with 13 goals in all competition.
