Men in Bodi tribe of Ethiopia drinks Cow's blood and milk to compete for fattest man

In Ethiopia, men from Bodi tribe of Ethiopia which is located in a remote corner of Ethiopia's Omo Valley compete to be fattest in the village by drinking a gruesome mixture of blood and milk in isolation for 6 months.

The tradition is called Ka'el which measures the body fat of a contestant. Although, there is no price for the winner, the champion fat man is feted as a hero for the rest of his life.
